The Kishigawa Line was previously on the verge of being discontinued. However, thanks to the efforts of the station master Tama, it still survives.

Ichigo means “Strawberry”.

Strawberries are a specialty of Kishigawa Town. You can enjoy strawberry picking.

Umeboshi Train

“Umeboshi” means salted plums, it is a specialty of Wakayama.

The color of train is deep red similar to Umeboshi.

Chuggington is the animation character of UK.

Originally, Okayama Electric Tramway, parent company of Wakayama Electric Railway, collaborated with Chuggington.

After that, Kishigawa Line was started to collaborate with Chuggington.
